Our Goals and Priorities
At the Center for Plastic Surgery, we are committed to performing the best and most appropriate aesthetic surgery care and thus delivering the best surgical results. Although perfection is rarely achieved in any human endeavor, that is always our goal.
Charleston plastic surgeon Dr. Terranova has over 25 years’ experience and has performed many thousands of plastic surgery procedures. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery whose members must all have performed a large number of aesthetic plastic surgery procedures before being granted membership.
Dr. Terranova is very proud of the fact that most of our new patients are referred to us by former patients. And that many doctors and nurses in Charleston refer family and friends to us for care.
Dr. Terranova is also extremely proud of his staff. He believes that the staff at The Center for Plastic Surgery is the finest in Charleston. They are competent, caring, and concerned about your experience here. Many of our patients tell us that they view staff members as friends, not simply as nurse or business manager or receptionist.
When this office was designed, a state-of-the-art operating suite was an integral part of the plan. It is fully accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities. This organization is one of the largest and most demanding in the country. Anesthesia and recovery are both supervised by a board-certified specialist.
Here at the Center for Plastic Surgery we put a high priority on patient education. This means that we spend a lot of time not only in the initial consultation – determining what problems you wish to address and how we can adequately meet your desires – but in reviewing all the preoperative steps and postoperative expectations. We know that you don’t like surprises. And neither do we!
